Esta obra critica el sistema educativo actual, que se enfoca en modelar a los individuos para que cumplan con los estándares sociales de manera automatizada, deshumanizando su individualidad. También pone en evidencia el uso excesivo de medicamentos y sustancias para controlar el estado de ánimo y la concentración, impidiendo la reflexión y adormeciendo la mente.
